Hump day  – gives it a little too much weight, don’t you think? If you are having to slog through a week by breaking it down into cliches then you sure as hell aren’t living in the moment. Tedium is the meat of small and tedious people.

I enjoy it each day for the special little things that make the day magic in and of itself. There are always moments worthy of a poem, and moments from which a story might be spun. If you don’t see the comedy and the drama in the every day, and miss the satire staring you in the face, then you are willfully blind.

I know I have said before that there is such a cornucopia of information out there that being bored must be really hard work – either that or you are just inestimably dumb, and not actually worth a damned sight.

I have the hump with the term hump day. Live it, because you know what? You are alive, and it could be worse.
