I like it when I get this exercise nailed everyday, it does something to shake loose mental cobwebs. I have been doing this blog for a while now; I am not sure how long without checking, but I would hope it has been witness to my evolution as a writer.

What does that mean exactly? It means development of, if not a voice, then at least a sensibility and an ethic that informs my creative work.

I suppose some projects have worked really well and some haven’t, but it is good that projects have always been in the works and coming to fruition, and existing in some way. Hard work does always pay off in some respect.

It never just drops in your lap … well, not for me, but if it did, wouldn’t you end up paying for it in some way anyway? Lack of care for what you have can cause damage to intrude just as easy as anything.

Rememeber where you are and where you came from, they say. And I point to my writing, and know I have remembered a lot.
