Finishing the writing of a book is always a pretty cool thing – discovering what it is called is even cooler. This happens – the title finding, I mean – when I write the book first, in parts, making it most likely poetry, and then work out from the comments what the title should be.
This method of writing a poetry book allows for a greater randomity to enter in, and is a nice change from those where the title comes first and the theme is an idea which unifies and informs the writing beforehand.
I may have to write a how to book called Skinning A Cat.
