While the surface is still the riptide moves under it. I have been working away at edits. i have been moving stories towards completion so that they are ready to explode out of the gates and keep running until they burst through the fourth wall.

I am always working hard and the reward will come as and when someone who reads it says to me I really like what you wrote. I am watching Ken Burn’s Jazz. I am reading the 2nd book about Lisbeth Salander, and I am consolidating all of the half finished ideas into complete ones, and building what will eventually be seen, I hope, as the essential library of my work. Too ambitious or smacking of arrogance? Ah, well. What writer doesn’t dream of that longevity?
