I have been reading a fair bit today; watching films; the kind of shit that most people do when they are chilling out and not producing anything. Sometimes the downtime is an important factor. I have been looking at old unfinished works and I really want them to be fully delivered. Sometimes you start a work and it flies towards its end in rapid motion, and sometimes you write something and it lingers … it sits around and it waits for you to catch up and get yourself ready to write it; some things have taken a hell of a lot longer than I ever expected them too.
There is one story I started writing way back when I was 15 and I am still in love with that story and I know one day it will walk around out there in the world and it will truly stretch its legs – it’s an epic, to be sure, as are a few of the things I am writing. Ah, the plans I have, and the actions I am taking to bring them to fruition.
I rarely talk here of the work I already I have out there, and sometimes I wonder whether giving away so much for free dulls the appetite for it, but you should check out my published work: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/psgri2003
Checking out all the blogs I write, I would hope you can acknowledge how hard I work. Well, why not show your appreciation by buying a hard copy of something? You get a book and I get a thank you – great outcome for both, right?
The more time I have to write the more I will write and the more you can read.
