I like talking with people about art, even if I disagree with some of the things that they say. To look at something which captures a person’s viewpoint of the world and how the world views them offers both insights into the personal life of that person and something of the social melee out of which they came.
I just watched a documentary on Woody Allen, or the first part at least, and I found it fascinating. Great film makers, great documentaries about film makers, and their insight into the art of producing their work is invaluable to a writer who is learning his craft, and aren’t we always learning our craft?
Today I out put out death bed learnings a study on mortality, because as a writer shouldn’t I be writing about anything and everything? Yes, is the answer to that, in case you were wondering.
Anyway – read it; I am going to bed, so I am going to cut this short. Au revoir.
