Today I haven’t really done that much in the way of writing, but I did sit there with my notebook and flesh out some ideas for some projects which have been gestating – these projects aren’t so much individual books as ideas on ways to produce books on a large scale that have either some thematic thing which makes them hang together or some kind of aesthetic sensibility.

I have chosen not to really write any poetry or anything fictionwise today because I have been suffering a heavy dose of the blues, and sometimes the things which you feel and think about are not of the nature that you necessarily want to share them or dilute them into fiction.

Sometimes sadness is an appropriate response; sometimes writing about it isn’t. I am reorganising a lot of things in my life at the moment and I am confident that good things are going to come of it.
