I am pushing towards the end of ‘Gold Reeds’, the poetry I am previewing on Goodreads. It will be the first poetry book I have completed for a while, though not the only one I have been working on. Each individual poem obviously has its own character and so does each book – the character of the book emerges over a longer period of time, so it will be interesting, even for me, to read it and see what the work as whole represents, other than a period of time during which I have been working on the book.

I came up with another idea the other night which I am thinking of as a cross between ‘The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe’ and Battlestar Galactica … it is called Fort Night and it will debut soon.

Actually, there are a whole host of things which have not yet seen the light of day which I am excited to show people, and there a whole host of things which I have been working on for an age which it will be good to get out there as hard copies.

This and the next year are going to be pretty exciting for me as far as creative work goes and I hope that those who follow me feeel the same way.

As well as creative fiction there are a lot of things I am hopin to do with non fiction too.
